Christmas fast approaching, which means that for many it is a time of crisis for booking flights and last minute shopping. Fortunately, our phones, we can easily do both with one push of a button. In addition to being able to perform these tasks easily, I realized that there is also a lot of ways you can keep more money in our Wallets by applications and other special offers by using our phones. One of my favorite things to do(besides writing, of course) to find different ways to save money. After the discovery of Androids and iPhone , find ways to save money has become much easier. I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite apps for saving money! GasBuddy: GasBuddy is ideal for those who travel a lot. Although gas prices have been slow as of late fall(! Almost less than $3.00 here) it's still good to know where the best prices per gallon are – no matter where you are. Whether you're in the city and outside of it for business or on vacation, you can always find where they sell the cheapest gas. Shop Savvy: Shop Savvy is an application that you can use when you're already in the store. All you have to do is use the camera to scan the bar code of the product, and the price will that allow you to compare a variety of local shops and online prices. Express Gate is a bit of work, but if you're really dedicated to paying the least amount of money can position will come in handy for you. now hotels: now, Hotwire.com! Except not. Com. This is simply an application on the phone. Many of you already know that if you plan to stay in the hotel, the prices can be shocking for one more night. This application helps, even if you do not plan ahead, because as many of you business has(or lack thereof) in the states: if someone books a room on the hotel and cancel last minute hotel loses money. At the moment they are ready to strongly reduce the price of the room, so they can some of that money back. Hotels Hotwire application can inform of the best deals in the area, so you do not have to pay full price! Skype: Okay, it may not be what most people think of “money saver”, but studies show that an increase in phone use during the winter months(probably due to the cold), and not everyone has unlimited minutes. Skype offers unlimited Skype-to-Skype, as long as the friend or family member, even Skype does not have to worry about wasting minutes. This, however, use the data so if they are not connected to a WiFi network, make sure that you have adequate(preferably unlimited) data plan so your bill does not break independently. Groupon: Although this is last on my list, it is certainly not the least. Groupon is great for both support small businesses in your area and, of course, saving money. Using Groupon really helped me to discover local businesses in the area, you probably have never visited before. Groupon uses different types of offers, from restaurants, spas, retail stores, and more. I recommend this app if you're looking to save money and for something to discover in the field of “new”. There are certainly a lot more applications out there that can help you save money, and who can say no to free money? As a person always on the lookout for saving money, I want to ask you, the readers, as you can use your phone to save money? Let me know in the comments!
